We built Humana for the moment when you stop trusting what you see on a screen. Every photograph in Humana carries a cryptographic signature. A SHA-256 hash, computed the instant you capture. A timestamp. A C2PA certificate issued the moment you publish. Not as a watermark — as a guarantee.
There is no gallery upload. No second chances. The camera opens. You see. You capture. You publish. What appears in Humana is what existed in front of your lens, the instant you decided it was worth keeping.
This is the refuge of the real.
Each photograph in Humana passes through three independent layers of authentication. Tampering with any one breaks the entire chain.
A custom iOS camera built from scratch. No gallery upload. No post-processing. At the moment of exposure, the raw sensor file is hashed with SHA-256 — before any re-encode. Camera metadata is stripped; the fingerprint is what travels.
Server-side, every photograph is signed using C2PA — the Content Authenticity standard backed by Adobe, Microsoft, BBC and Sony. The certificate uses ECDSA P-256, stored in Google Secret Manager. Tampering breaks the seal.
Every post has a public certificate, accessible by QR code. Anyone — Humana user or not — can open it from any browser and check the author, the timestamp and the image fingerprint. Trust is not a brand promise. It is a mathematical proof.
A chronological feed — never engagement bait. No infinite scroll designed to consume your evening. No notifications engineered to drag you back.
